Location
Cayo Espanto is located on its own private 4-acre island, 7-minutes by boat from San Pedro. Alaska Airlines, American, United, Southwest, Copa Airlines, Aeroméxico, Avianca, jetBlue, Sun Country, Tropic Air, WestJet, Air Canada and Delta each offer direct service to Belize City. Guests arriving at Phillip S W Goldson International Airport (BZE) in Belize City will be greeted by our resort representative upon clearing Belize Customs, where they may board a local flight to San Pedro in Ambergris Caye for approximately $174 round-trip per person, round-trip including tax, or by private helicopter transport directly to Cayo Espanto island for approximately $2,095 one-way or $4,190 round-trip including tax, for 2 or 3 passengers and $2,328 one-way or $4,656 round-trip including tax, for 4 or 5 passengers. Flights from Miami or Houston are a mere 2 hours. Guests traveling by local airline to San Pedro airport will be met upon arrival by our hotel staff and transferred to the resort.
Home truths
You may also choose to hire your own island Dive Master and Fishing Expert, who are available to lead you on private dive, snorkel and fishing tours. Private and group tour trips to the rain forest and the many Maya Ruins can be arranged as well.
